Play a toss relay to remind ourselves about how we need to work together and encourage each other to share the Good News.

  • Designate a start and finish point, about 40 to 50 feet stretch.  If in a home, the relay path may have to lead from one room to another.  Fun!
  • Everyone line up about 4 to 5 feet away from each other from the starting point.
  • Toss a tennis ball, each person saying aloud a letter in the word, EVANGELISM.
  • The first person who called out “E” must run to the end of the line to continue the relay.  The second person follows after saying “V.”
  • Continue until the finish point is reached.  Repeat the letters if necessary.  Celebrate when the finish line is reached with a song or a dance!
  • If someone calls out a wrong letter or the ball drops, the relay starts all over, from the beginning.
  • Try different words:  SALVATION, BELIEVE, GOOD NEWS.
