– Taking care of and doing the best you can with what God has given you –

Everything you have is a gift from God.  Your games, your clothes, your books, your food, and your house.  But it’s more than that – your family, your friends, your body, and your time on earth are all gifts from God to you.  God has given you these things for a reason.

Good Stewardship (or being a “good steward”) is taking care of those gifts given to you by God and doing your best to use those gifts to help other people know the hope, love, and wonderful forgiveness of God.  If you don’t take care of the things that God has given you then you may miss out on great opportunities to see God do incredible things in and through your life.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
