– Teaching others what is right by showing them how you live –
It feels nice to be a leader when everyone wants to follow you, do what you say, and look up to you. But the best leaders are not those who just tell people what to do. They first show others the way by how they live. If you want to be a good leader, you need to be a model of what you want your followers to be. It is not about making things easier for yourself; it’s about leading by example.
“Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned” – Titus 2:7, 8a (ESV)
