– Choosing to put your focus and energy towards a goal –
Have you ever set a goal or really wanted something but then you never really did much to make it happen? It can be hard to start towards a big goal. It can be confusing to know where to start or who to ask for help or sometimes the whole idea just seems to big to handle.
Do you know how to climb a huge mountain? One step at a time. Whether you’re trying to learn an instrument, become a great athlete, make a friend, or anything else… it always starts with one step. Asking God for help is always a good start. Then you can ask others for help. And then you take the next step and the next step. You can’t always figure out the whole path before you start but it will take your energy and focus to take a step each time. Think about what you need to do, ask for help, and choose to take your next step with purpose!
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God ha called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3:14 (NLV)
