– Choosing to use all that you have and all you are to please God –
Though we have all broken God’s rules and deserve eternal punishment, God offers His complete forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. There are so many great treasures that come with that forgiveness. True peace in knowing we are forever taken care of, true purpose by knowing what God has made us for, true joy in knowing we are loved perfectly, true strength that comes from our Father – the mightiest warrior in all of existence. The list goes on and on.
God is good and He knows and wants what is best for you. He has asked you to give all that you have and all that you are to serve Him. When you think about His great mercies to you (the wonderful gifts he has given you without your deserving it) the best response is to choose to give all that you can each day to please God. It isn’t always easy but it is always the most rewarding and the best choice you can make!
“Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.“ – Romans 12:1 (BSB)
