“Communication” is how you let others know what you think or feel. As a baby you didn’t know how to speak so you cried and screamed to get attention. But as you grew older it was important to start using your words to let others know what you were thinking or feeling. Speaking in this way is speaking the truth and it is very important. If someone doesn’t understand what you want, it is very hard for them to help you. That is why it is so important to work hard to keep getting better at speaking clearly and telling people what you need.
Sometimes people speak clearly about what they want but they don’t think about others. The truth is important but you should also think about how you say it. If you say it in a mean way or a complaining way, it isn’t very loving. If you practice and learn how to share the truth in love, you will be more like Jesus and people will appreciate you even more.
