– Asking questions and always trying to learn something new and useful –

The more you learn, the more tools and opportunities you will have.  Great leaders are great learners. Everyone around you has something to teach you.  You also know some things that others around you may not know, which means you have something to teach someone else.  Wise people know how to learn from everyone around them.  There are many reasons that you may not want to learn from someone.  Maybe they are not a kind person.  Maybe they are a lot younger than you are.  Maybe they say things in a boring way.  Maybe they don’t know about or believe in God.  Finding the truth or value in what anyone says is like finding a nugget of gold.  Some people have a lot of gold nuggets to share and some have a lot of trash, but if you are humble and wise enough to ask good questions, searching through what they say, you can find gold nuggets even in a pile of trash.  It is important to take everything we learn and look at it through the lens of the Bible because God’s truth is the truth.

“Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more. – Proverbs 9:9 (NLT)
